The company's business is structured into distinct segments: Engineering and Construction (E&C), Operations and Maintenance (O&M), Drilling, Exploration and Production (E&P), and Corporate functions. Within its E&C division, Sapura Energy provides end-to-end engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) services. This encompasses the installation of critical offshore infrastructure such as platforms, submarine pipelines, subsea facilities, umbilicals, risers, and flowlines. Additionally, the company owns and operates a substantial fleet of offshore support vessels, alongside tender-assist drilling and semi-tender rigs. Its diverse offerings extend to chartering vessels and barges, providing manpower and treasury management, conducting hydrographic and soil investigations, offshore geotechnical and geophysical surveys, and developing petroleum resources. Sapura Energy also contributes to marine technology development, marine chartering, and offers technical consulting for subsea and floating systems. The organization adopted its current name in March 2017, having previously been known as SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad.
