Founded in 1925 and based in Komaki, Japan, Taihei Machinery Works, Limited is a dedicated manufacturer and supplier of specialized equipment for both the plywood and general woodworking industries. Their extensive catalog includes various plywood machinery, such as knife grinding and honing machines, horizontal and green veneer moisture equalizing presses, and advanced roll jet dryers, in addition to complete veneer plywood and LVL manufacturing plants. The company also delivers industrial solutions like building material production machines, further veneer dryers, and hydraulic press systems. For woodworking applications, Taihei provides finger joint systems, 6-axis shuklessers, gang rippers, molders, rapiers, and automatic planers capable of processing one to four sides. Furthermore, their offerings extend to chip-making equipment, encompassing various chippers (including veneer and underfeed types), roller screens, shaving machines, and conveyor systems. Beyond its domestic Japanese market, Taihei Machinery Works maintains a significant international presence, exporting its products to numerous countries across Asia, North and South America, Europe, Oceania, and Africa.
