The company produces and distributes a wide range of sugar products, including refined sugar, double sulphitation sugars, and premium offerings like sulfur-free white crystal sugar and natural brown sugar under the 'Dalmia Utsav' brand. By-products from its sugar manufacturing, such as bagasse and molasses, are utilized for generating power. Furthermore, DBSIL is a significant producer and supplier of various alcohols, including rectified spirits, extra neutral alcohol (or hydrous alcohol), denatured spirits, and ethanol (or anhydrous ethanol), along with alcohol-based hand sanitizers sold under the 'Dalmia Sanjeevani' label. The company also extends its manufacturing capabilities to refractory products and contributes to renewable energy, operating co-generation plants with a capacity of 123 MW and wind farms generating 17 MW. Its diverse portfolio also includes ventures in magnesite, travel, and electronics, in addition to the production and sale of organic manure to farmers. Established in 1951, the company maintains its headquarters in New Delhi, India.
