Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is a leading aerospace enterprise engaged in the full spectrum of activities, from the conceptualization and production of aviation assets to their comprehensive maintenance, modernization, and support. Operating both domestically and globally, HAL's extensive portfolio encompasses fixed-wing aircraft, rotorcraft, jet engines, advanced electronic systems, crucial components, and structural elements for aerospace applications. The company supplies propulsion systems and a diverse array of specialized materials, including castings, precision forgings, powder metallurgy products, rubber components, rolled rings, and composites. It also provides critical aerospace components like airframe structures, fuel tanks, and cryogenic engines. Furthermore, HAL manufactures a comprehensive suite of sophisticated avionics, such as inertial navigation systems, head-up displays, and various radar and communication equipment, alongside critical aircraft systems and accessories, including hydraulic, braking, flight control, oxygen, and fuel management systems, as well as specialized instruments and ejector release units. Beyond manufacturing, HAL delivers extensive Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services for aircraft, helicopters, engines, and related systems, accessories, and avionics. Serving the space, defense, and civil aviation sectors, HAL has a notable collaboration with Rolls-Royce Holdings plc to bolster the Indian supply chain for Adour engine parts for military clients.
