Furthermore, it supplies crucial electromagnetic brakes for industrial safety, fire protection, elevators, various appliances, wind turbines, and aircraft, alongside microvalves employed in water purification systems. The Automotive segment delivers sophisticated electromagnetic components and solutions, as well as control units. These are integral to applications such as active suspension, thermal management, fuel systems, acoustic vehicle alerting systems (AVAS), sensor cleaning, transmission systems, and mobile hydraulics. Additionally, Kendrion develops electronic systems and components specifically for commercial vehicles, including buses, trucks, and those used in the construction and agricultural sectors. The company, which was originally known as Schuttersveld N.V., adopted its current name, Kendrion N.V., in 2001.
