About

Established in 1982 and headquartered in Indore, India, Khaitan Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited is a prominent producer and marketer of a diverse range of chemical and agricultural products. The company's operations are segmented into Fertilizers, Chemicals & Specialty Chemicals, and Other ventures. In its fertilizer division, it offers single super phosphate (SSP) in various formulations – plain, zincated, and boronated – available in both powdered and granulated forms, branded as Khaitan SSP and Utsav SSP, for widespread agricultural application. The chemical segment manufactures sulphuric acid, a key ingredient for SSP production and also used in copper, zinc, and ferrous sulphates, as well as some pharmaceutical goods. It further produces sulphur trioxide and oleum, critical for plastics, detergents, and dyestuff industries, alongside linear alkyl benzene sulphonic acid (LABSA) for detergent and washing cake manufacturing. Diversifying its portfolio, Khaitan also processes crude soya oil and de-oiled cakes, and sells refined vegetable oil under the Khaitan Vegetable Oil brand. Additionally, the company generates steam and participates in wind power sales.
