About

Mpact Limited is a South African company specializing in comprehensive paper and plastic packaging solutions, alongside significant recycling operations. The company's activities are organized into distinct Paper and Plastics divisions. Within its Paper segment, Mpact produces a variety of recycled-content paper and industrial grades, such as containerboards and carton boards. It also converts these materials into a diverse portfolio of corrugated products, both printed and unprinted. This includes everything from corrugated boxes, die-cut cases, and folded glued cases to specialized trays, point-of-sale displays, cups, lids, and bags. Additionally, the company distributes Mondi ProVantage kraftliner products (Baywhite and BayKraf) and runs extensive paper recycling initiatives, sourcing materials from both pre- and post-consumer waste streams. The Plastics division is responsible for manufacturing an extensive array of plastic packaging. This encompasses PET preforms, bottles, and jars; a range of closures for the food, beverage, household, and chemical sectors; large-format items like jumbo bins, wheelie bins, pallets, and crates; rigid packaging solutions for fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG); polystyrene and PET trays; and vinyl films. Mpact supplies its diverse paper and board products to various industrial clients, including corrugated board and box manufacturers, other containerboard converters, folding carton producers, and those making industrial goods, cards, and book covers. Corrugated solutions specifically cater to agricultural, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and other durable and non-durable goods sectors. Its plastic packaging serves a broad spectrum of markets, notably food, beverage, personal care, home care, pharmaceutical, agricultural, and retail. The company's headquarters are situated in Johannesburg, South Africa.
