National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) is an Indian enterprise engaged in the domestic and international production and distribution of alumina and aluminum commodities. Its operations are organized into two primary segments: Chemicals and Aluminium. The company's comprehensive product portfolio encompasses various aluminum metal forms such as ingots, alloy ingots, T-ingots, sows, billets, and wire rods. Additionally, it supplies alumina and hydrate products, including calcined alumina, alumina hydrate, specialty alumina, specialty hydrate products, zeolite-A, aluminum rolled products, and chequered sheets. NALCO boasts significant operational assets, including an opencast bauxite mine spanning 16 square kilometers in Odisha's Koraput district. Furthermore, the company has diversified into renewable energy, owning and operating multiple wind power plants across India—a 50.4 MW facility in Gandikota, Andhra Pradesh; a 47.6 MW plant in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan; a 50 MW plant in Devikot, Rajasthan; and another 50.4 MW plant in Jath, Maharashtra. A solar power plant is also located in Bhubaneswar. Complementing its core activities, NALCO manages mechanized storage and ship handling infrastructure essential for the export of alumina and the import of caustic soda. Established in 1981, the company's headquarters are situated in Bhubaneswar, India.
