It offers cooking oil under the Filma, Mitra, and Kunci Mas names; industrial margarines and shortening products under the Palmboom, Menara, and Goodfry names; and specialty fats. In addition, the company provides fatty acids, glycerin, and soap noodles; palm kernel oil and meal; and cocoa butter substitute. Further, it is involved in the cultivation of ornamental plants; provision of transportation and office administration services; and organic chemical, oleo chemical, and bio energy businesses. As of December 31, 2021, it had a total planted area of approximately 105,942 hectares. The company was incorporated in 1962 and is headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia. PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology Tbk is a subsidiary of PT Purimas Sasmita.
