Initially known as Sobha Developers Limited, the company adopted its current name in August 2014. Its operations are bifurcated into two main segments: Real Estate and Contractual & Manufacturing. Within its Real Estate division, Sobha offers a wide array of housing options, ranging from opulent luxury and presidential apartments, villas, and row houses to plotted land developments and affordable aspirational homes. The company's Contractual segment caters to corporate clients, delivering projects such as offices, convention centers, software development blocks, multiplex theaters, various hospitality facilities (hotels, guest houses, hostels), dining establishments, research centers, clubhouses, and factory buildings. Furthermore, Sobha possesses substantial manufacturing capabilities. This includes crafting custom corporate and residential interiors, producing solid wood and MDF panelled doors, various types of panelling, partitions, tables, and loose furniture like chairs, sofas, cots, and modular kitchens. Their industrial output also covers aluminum products (doors, windows, structural glazing), ferrous and stainless steel metal fabrications, aluminum composite panels, SS claddings, pre-engineered structures, and other architectural metalwork. Additionally, Sobha manufactures a range of concrete products, including blocks, pavers, kerbs, water drainage channels, paving slabs, and landscape elements, alongside mattresses sold under its Restoplus brand.
