Meanwhile, the Systems division specializes in producing industrial computing systems, custom battery packs, and advanced communication technologies, such as specialized antennas, radios, and video transmission products. This division is also responsible for engineering and manufacturing computing systems for image acquisition, processing, and relay. Additionally, Solid State plc distributes opto-electronic components. The company serves a diverse range of sectors, including security and defense, medical, greentech, energy, transport, and industrial clients. The firm was formerly known as Solid State Supplies plc before adopting its current name in May 2006.
