About

Swelect Energy Systems Limited is a diversified enterprise specializing in renewable energy solutions and industrial manufacturing. The company's core business involves the fabrication and distribution of solar power components, including photovoltaic modules (mono and multi-crystalline, as well as building-integrated PV), mounting systems, transformers, and inverters. These products are supplied to markets across India, Europe, and other international regions. Its operations are broadly categorized into three segments: Solar and related ventures, Foundry operations, and Other business lines. Beyond its solar product offerings, Swelect also provides solar-powered water pumping systems. Complementing its energy endeavors, the company engages in iron, steel, and intricate investment casting processes. Furthermore, Swelect offers a suite of ancillary services and products, such as voltage stabilizers, energy conservation consultancy, comprehensive energy audits, sustainable building design and retrofitting, and advanced LED lighting systems. They support clients through site feasibility assessments, execute engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts, and deliver ongoing operation and maintenance services for energy projects. The company is also an independent power producer, involved in generating electricity from both solar and wind sources, and offers contract manufacturing services. Established in 1994 and headquartered in Chennai, India, the company was formerly known as Numeric Power Systems Limited until its rebranding to Swelect Energy Systems Limited in May 2012.
