Yesterday, Diamcor surged 25% <a href="https://ca.finance.yahoo.com/quote/DMI.V/?utm_source=in_materials">in Toronto</a> and 65% in the U.S. (where it trades <a href="https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/DMIFF/?utm_source=in_materials">over the counter</a>). The driver was news that Diamcor had reached a preliminary <a href="https://www.diamcormining.com/news/diamcor-signs-letter-of-intent-with--dubai-based-company-for-a-usd-50m-term-loan?utm_source=in_materials">agreement</a> with a "well-established Dubai based manufacturer and supplier of bridal and anniversary diamonds to the global market" for a $5 million term loan.

The diamond miner Diamcor Mining has announced a term-loan financing to accelerate growth in diamond processing at its primary project, the Krone-Endora mine in South Africa. The company <a href="https://www.diamcormining.com/news/diamcor-announces-term-loan-financing-to-expedite-increased-processing-at-krone-endora?utm_source=in_materials">believes</a> the short-term issues that depressed demand and prices throughout the rough diamond sector in 2024 are showing signs of improvement, and thus expects the market to rebound in 2025.

Tiffany’s diamond supplier Diamcor sees demand recovery in 2025

Shares of diamond mining company Diamcor Mining fell 15% on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. In Canada, its shares dropped 10% on Thursday. This came as the company  <a href="https://www.diamcormining.com/news/diamcor-receives-final-approval-of-cnd2006300-financing">announced</a> that the TSX Venture Exchange had approved a private placement of CAD2 million (about $1.47 million).
