Republican presidential candidate <strong>Donald Trump</strong> jumped out to an early lead before being declared the winner late. Bloomberg <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2024-11-06/small-caps-post-biggest-election-night-move-as-votes-roll-in?embedded-checkout=true&amp;sref=Y0jVLcFo&amp;utm_source=in_materials">notes</a> that his strong protectionist stance stands to benefit small companies. The day of the election, small caps had closed with big gains.
