Apple will unveil its long-awaited first touchscreen MacBook Pro on October 28, Bloomberg reports. The company announced a product launch event dubbed “Pro and tell,” which Bloomberg described as a nod to the MacBook Pro update.

The launch will mark a major reversal for Apple, which said for years that it would not combine the iPad and Mac experiences, Bloomberg notes.

As previously reported, the new laptops will be lighter than current models and feature OLED screens, along with the Dynamic Island interface familiar to iPhone users. The devices will come in 14- and 16-inch versions powered by M5 Pro and M5 Max chips. Apple may also introduce a lower-cost MacBook Pro with an M6 chip, a refreshed iMac, and a new iPad mini with an OLED screen, as Bloomberg previously reported.

In 2027, Apple will release AirPods with cameras, the companys first smart glasses, and a redesigned iPhone to mark the devices 20th anniversary / Photo: AS photo family / Shutterstock.com
