The company was formerly known as The Hongkong and Yaumati Ferry Company Limited and changed its name to Hong Kong Ferry (Holdings) Company Limited in 1989. Hong Kong Ferry (Holdings) Company Limited was incorporated in 1923 and is headquartered in Tsing Yi, Hong Kong.
