About

Greenheart Group Limited is an investment holding company that operates an extensive global forestry business, with activities primarily centered in Suriname and New Zealand. This enterprise encompasses the harvesting of hardwood logs, timber processing, and the subsequent marketing, sale, and distribution of both logs and finished timber products. Their product portfolio includes softwood, predominantly radiata pine logs, which are utilized in the production of sawn timber, plywood, and veneer. Hardwood products are supplied for a diverse range of applications, such as furniture manufacturing, flooring, decking, windows, doors, heavy outdoor construction, interior design, and marine uses. By the close of 2021 (December 31), Greenheart managed freehold radiata pine plantation forest assets spanning approximately 12,700 hectares within New Zealand's Northland region. Concurrently, in Suriname, South America, the company held significant concession and cutting rights covering around 298,000 hectares. Beyond these core forestry operations, the company delivers various ancillary services, including corporate, administrative, and general management support, as well as specialized forest management. Its functions also extend to securing timber concessions, executing log and timber product harvesting and sales, manufacturing and selling pallets, and overseeing all forestry-related administration. Established in 1991, the company was initially known as Omnicorp Limited before rebranding as Greenheart Group Limited in December 2010. Headquartered in Wanchai, Hong Kong, Greenheart Group Limited operates as a subsidiary of Newforest Limited.
