GNI Group Ltd. is a global biopharmaceutical enterprise dedicated to the research, development, manufacturing, and commercialization of both modern pharmaceuticals and traditional Chinese medicines. The company's lead product, Etuary, is currently available for the treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Beyond this, Etuary is undergoing further clinical evaluation: it is in Phase III trials for connective tissue disease-associated interstitial lung disease, and in Phase II along with a pre-Phase III pilot study for radiation pneumonitis. Investigations are also underway for its application in diabetic nephropathy. GNI Group Ltd.'s pipeline additionally features F351, which is in Phase II development for liver fibrosis; F573, an early-stage compound in pre-clinical testing for acute-on-chronic liver failure; and Tamibarotene, intended for the treatment of acute promyelocytic leukemia. Established in 2001, the company's headquarters are located in Tokyo, Japan.
