The company also engages in the granting loans; credit and leasing, and other related financing activities; property holding, letting, investment, development, and management activities; die preparation; manufacturing, assembling, and testing optoelectronic and sensor components, modules, and systems; IT and software consultancy activities; construction, landscaping, renovation, and other related works; and designing, manufacturing, repairing, assembly, and testing of semiconductor equipment. The company was formerly known as Paper Products (Malaya) Berhad and changed its name to Insas Berhad in October 1987. Insas Berhad was incorporated in 1961 and is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
