SymBio Pharmaceuticals Limited, established in 2005 and headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, is a pharmaceutical company focused on the research, development, production, and commercialization of medicinal products, primarily within the oncology and hematology fields for the Japanese market. The company's leading marketed anti-cancer drug is TREAKISYM (SyB L-0501), utilized for treating non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and chronic lymphocytic leukemia. TREAKISYM is also currently undergoing Phase III clinical trials for relapsed/refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. SymBio's development pipeline includes enhanced formulations of this drug: SyB L-1701, a ready-to-dilute version, and SyB L-1702, designed for rapid infusion. Beyond its cancer treatments, the company is advancing SyB L-1101, an intravenous formulation in Phase III trials for higher-risk myelodysplastic syndromes (HR-MDS), as well as SyB C-1101, an oral formulation in Phase II/III trials, combined with Azacitidine, also for HR-MDS. Additionally, SymBio is developing SyB V-1901, an antiviral medication targeting infectious diseases.
