The company's diverse activities are structured across three main divisions: Chemical Products, Paper, and Other. The Chemical Products division is responsible for producing and distributing a wide array of chemical substances. This includes sodium sulphate, a crucial component used in the production of detergents, glass, pulp and paper, and textiles, and also as a base for creating other chemicals like potassium sulfate, aluminum sulfate, sodium silicate, and sodium sulphur. Alkim also provides various salts, which are utilized across the food, textile, de-icing, leather, chemical, healthcare, and animal feed sectors. Additionally, it manufactures leonite fertilizers and magnesium compounds such as magnesium chloride and magnesium sulfate. Complementing its chemical production, the company operates a 1,200-hectare chrome mine located in the Eskisehir region. In its Paper segment, Alkim manufactures different types of paper, including offset, coated, office, glossy, and photocopy papers, along with paper pulp. The "Other" segment encompasses services like insurance brokerage, as well as the generation and sale of electricity and heat energy.
