Drax possesses a notable collection of power generation assets, including the 2,000-megawatt (MW) Drax Power Station in Selby, North Yorkshire, which serves as its primary facility. It also oversees the 440 MW Cruachan Power Station, a pumped-hydro storage site located in Argyll and Bute, and operates the Lanark and Galloway hydro-electric stations in southwest Scotland, which collectively supply 126 MW. In addition to power generation, the company runs the Daldowie fuel plant, converting sludge into dry, low-odour fuel pellets.
