The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is a global enterprise that specializes in the development, manufacturing, distribution, and sale of tires and associated services. Its extensive product range includes rubber tires designed for a vast array of applications, spanning passenger cars, trucks, buses, aircraft, motorcycles, as well as heavy-duty earthmoving, mining, agricultural, and industrial equipment. These diverse tires are marketed under a multitude of prominent brands such as Goodyear, Cooper, Dunlop, Kelly, Mastercraft, Roadmaster, Debica, Sava, Fulda, Mickey Thompson, Avon, and Remington, alongside various house and private-label options. Beyond new tire sales, Goodyear also provides retread solutions for truck, aviation, and off-the-road tires, and manufactures and sells materials essential for tire retreading. Its offerings further extend to chemical products, a variety of automotive and commercial repair services, and other miscellaneous goods. The company engages directly with consumers through a network of approximately 800 retail locations that offer product sales, repairs, and other services. Additionally, it facilitates online purchases via goodyear.com for consumer tires and goodyeartrucktires.com for commercial tires. Under the Goodyear or Just Tires banners, it delivers automotive maintenance and repair services and supplies automotive repair components, equipment, and accessories to both dealers and end-consumers. Goodyear's global distribution network encompasses independent dealers, regional distributors, its own retail outlets, and other retailers. Established in 1898, the company's headquarters are located in Akron, Ohio.
