The Navigator Company, S.A., established in 1953 and headquartered in Setúbal, Portugal, is a leading international producer and vendor of pulp and various paper products. Its business operations are structured across several key areas: Market Pulp, UWF Paper, Tissue Paper, and an Energy division. The company's extensive product range includes bleached eucalyptus kraft pulp, a variety of uncoated papers for writing and printing, and paper designed for household use. These offerings are marketed under a collection of well-known brands such as Navigator, Multioffice, Discovery, explorer, Inacopia, Target, Pioneer, SOPORSET, INASET, and target plus, serving both commercial and consumer markets. Beyond its core paper activities, The Navigator Company also engages in energy generation, operating cogeneration facilities and two autonomous thermoelectric power plants. With a significant global footprint, the company conducts business in roughly 130 countries worldwide. It officially adopted its current name, The Navigator Company, S.A., in February 2016, having previously traded as Portucel, S.A. The firm operates as a subsidiary of Semapa - Sociedade de Investimento e Gestão, SGPS, S.A.
