OMV Petrom S.A., an energy company, engages in the exploration and production of oil and gas in Southeastern Europe. The Refining and Marketing segment produces and delivers gasoline, diesel, and other petroleum products; and fuel, lubricants, and bitumen deliver to retail and wholesale customers through filling stations under the Petrom and OMV brands. The Gas and Power segment produces electricity; and sells gas and power. This segment operates Brazil power plant, an 860 MW gas fired plant. As of December 31, 2021, the company had total proved oil and gas reserves of approximately 419 million barrels of oil equivalent; and proved and probable oil and gas reserves of approximately 680 million barrels of oil equivalent in Romania. The company is headquartered in Bucharest, Romania. OMV Petrom S.A. is a subsidiary of OMV Aktiengesellschaft.
