For the heavy vehicle industry (trucks), it provides critical components such as flywheels, gears, clutch housings, filter heads, air connectors, lubrication oil cooler cover assemblies, filtration module castings, turbochargers, compressor cover assemblies, charge air pipes, intake manifolds, and cover coolant ducts. In the passenger car sector, Sundaram-Clayton supplies various parts including cylinder heads, transaxle cases, oil pans, chain cases, cylinder head covers, adaptor oil filters, fuel pump housings, gear shift forks, starter housings, and A/C compressor housings. Furthermore, it produces essential items for powered two-wheelers, such as crankcases, cylinder heads and barrels, and wheel hubs. The company also manufactures brake equipment valve bodies. Originally incorporated as Sundaram - Clayton DCD Limited, the company officially adopted its present name, Sundaram-Clayton Limited, in August 2023. Established in 1962, the firm operates out of its headquarters in Chennai, India.
