About

Texas Instruments, Inc. (TI) is a global enterprise specializing in the design, manufacture, and sale of semiconductor products to electronics designers and manufacturers. Its operations are structured into two main divisions: Analog and Embedded Processing. The Analog segment supplies an extensive array of power management solutions that address diverse voltage requirements. These encompass battery management systems, DC/DC switching regulators, AC/DC and isolated controllers/converters, power switches, linear regulators, voltage references, and lighting-specific components. Furthermore, this segment provides signal chain products engineered to detect, condition, and measure signals, enabling information transfer or conversion for subsequent processing and control. This category includes amplifiers, data converters, interface devices, motor drive solutions, timing components, and logic and sensing technologies. The Embedded Processing segment offers microcontrollers essential for various electronic equipment, digital signal processors optimized for mathematical computations, and application-specific processors designed for particular computing tasks. This division's products serve a wide range of markets, such as industrial, automotive, personal electronics, communications infrastructure, enterprise systems, and calculators. Beyond these core semiconductor offerings, TI also develops DLP (Digital Light Processing) technology, primarily employed for projecting high-definition images, as well as calculators and custom application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs). The company distributes its semiconductor portfolio through direct sales, authorized distributors, and its official website. Founded in 1930, Texas Instruments Incorporated is headquartered in Dallas, Texas.
