Within its Energy Solutions division, Samsung SDI produces small-format lithium-ion batteries for a broad array of consumer electronics, including laptops, tablets, mobile phones, and wearable devices, alongside power tools, garden equipment, vacuum cleaners, e-bikes, e-scooters, and automotive ignition systems. It also provides materials for LCDs, like polarizing films and color photo resists, and for OLEDs, including evaporation materials and thin film encapsulation products. Additionally, this division produces photovoltaic pastes and various other display materials. Beyond these core activities, Samsung SDI is involved in the production and sale of raw materials for rechargeable batteries and strategically invests in new technology ventures. The company maintains a significant international presence, serving markets across South Korea, Europe, China, North America, and other global regions.
