The company's activities are broadly categorized into six divisions: Utilities, Pharmaceuticals, Hospitality, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Port Services, and Elevators and Escalators. Its utility infrastructure features an impressive electricity transmission capacity of approximately 946,000 kVA, a daily water supply capability of 425,000 tons, and an extensive steam distribution network spanning about 462 kilometers of pipelines with approximately 120 processing stations, able to distribute around 30,000 tons daily. Beyond direct utility provision, the company offers a range of electricity-related services, such as constructing supply networks, implementing new and renewable energy technologies, and delivering technical support for electrical infrastructure. For water utilities, its services encompass the installation and maintenance of piping systems, technical consultancy, and the retail and wholesale of water pipes and their associated parts. Additionally, the company is involved in manufacturing and selling industrial equipment, including presses, mechanical and hydroelectric machinery, and large-scale pump units. Its hospitality portfolio includes the management of the 4-star, 245-room Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong hotel. In the pharmaceutical sector, it conducts research and development of medical technologies and products, manufactures and distributes chemical drugs, and handles the design, production, and printing of pharmaceutical packaging, alongside selling other paper-based packaging materials. The company also manufactures and sells elevators and escalators. Further operations include financial leasing and the provision of port services. Incorporated in 1997 and based in Central, Hong Kong, Tianjin Development Holdings Limited is a subsidiary of Tsinlien Group Company Limited.
