For the pharmaceutical industry, it provides specialized chiral and achiral columns, a variety of chiral and bio reagents, and DNA/RNA-based probes, supported by comprehensive analytical, purification, synthesis, formulation, and specialized analytical tool services. The "Smart" segment focuses on advanced materials for the electronics industry, offering triacetylcellulose and films for display technologies, solvents for electronic applications, polymers for resist processes, and cleaning agents for semiconductors. Moreover, Daicel contributes to visualization technologies with its optical components, lens units, silver nanoparticle inks, and organic semiconductor devices.
