Its operations are structured into three main divisions: Corporate Banking, Personal Banking, and Financial Market Operations. The Corporate Banking segment extends financial products and services, including deposit accounts, corporate lending, trade finance facilities, financial leasing, and various corporate advisory offerings, to businesses, government bodies, and financial institutions. Meanwhile, the Personal Banking segment caters to individual clients, supplying deposit products, personal credit, payment cards, private wealth management services, and other personal intermediary services. The Financial Market Operations segment is involved in money market transactions, such as repurchase agreements, and makes investments in debt instruments both for its own portfolio and on behalf of customers. Beyond traditional services, CRCB also offers digital banking solutions through mobile, internet, and telephone platforms. By the close of 2021, the bank boasted an extensive network of 1,760 operational locations. This included its central office and business department, 7 full branches, 35 first-tier sub-branches, 134 second-tier sub-branches, 2 community sub-branches, and 1,580 local branch offices. Additionally, it provided 145 24-hour self-service banking centers. The institution, which traces its origins to 1951, was initially known as Chongqing Rural Credit Union before adopting its current name, Chongqing Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd., in 2008. Its headquarters are located in Chongqing, China.
