The third segment, Mobility & Healthcare, Other Business, focuses on products like in-vehicle cameras, video cameras, digital cameras, drone components, medical lenses, and diverse optical device parts. Beyond these segments, Tamron also produces lenses for IP/CCTV systems and long-wavelength infrared cameras, alongside optical device units and precision injection molds made from engineering plastic. The company maintains a global footprint, conducting business across Japan, Asia, North America, Europe, and other international markets. Originally known as Taisei Optical Equipment Manufacturing Inc., the firm adopted the name Tamron Co.,Ltd. in April 1970.
