Japan Prime Realty Investment Corporation (JPR) was founded on September 14, 2001, adhering to the provisions of Japan's Act on Investment Trusts and Investment Corporations (Act No. 198 of 1951, as amended). JPR made its debut on the Tokyo Stock Exchange's Real Estate Investment Trust Section on June 14, 2002, initially issuing 289,600 investment units. Following a series of public offerings and other capital-raising initiatives, the total number of outstanding investment units expanded to 958,250 by the close of the 37th fiscal period on June 30, 2020. JPR entrusts the management of its property portfolio to Tokyo Realty Investment Management, Inc. (TRIM). Its strategic objective is to maximize value for unitholders through the efficient stewardship of its assets, primarily comprising office and retail properties.
