The firm holds a stake in the Mount Cameron Property, located in the Mayo Mining District of the Yukon, and also possesses mineral concessions on southern Dall Island in southeast Alaska, United States. Established in 2001, the company was known as Guardian Resources Inc. until it rebranded to Guardian Exploration Inc. in May of that year. Its corporate headquarters are situated in Calgary, Canada.
