SSAB AB (publ), a Swedish company established in 1878 and headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of steel products. Its operations span the United States, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Denmark, and various other international markets. The company's business activities are structured across five key divisions: SSAB Special Steels, which produces quenched and tempered steels along with advanced high-strength hot-rolled steel products; SSAB Europe, providing strip, plate, and tubular steel; and SSAB Americas, specializing in heavy steel plates. Additionally, Tibnor serves as a distributor for steel and non-ferrous metals throughout the Nordic region and the Baltics, while Ruukki Construction offers a range of building and construction solutions for both residential and commercial projects. SSAB markets its diverse steel offerings under numerous brand names, including Strenx, Hardox, Docol, GreenCoat, Toolox, Armox, Duroxite, SSAB Boron, SSAB Domex, SSAB Form, SSAB Laser, SSAB Weathering and Cor-Ten, and SSAB Multisteel. These products are utilized across a broad spectrum of sectors, such as heavy transport, construction, automotive, industrial applications, construction machinery, energy, material handling, and service centers. Notably, SSAB AB (publ) has also entered into a strategic partnership with Faurecia S.E. to supply fossil-free steel for automotive seat structures.
