These materials, sold under brand names such as EMERGE, CALIBRE, PLEXIGLAS, ALTUGLAS, PULSE, ACRYSPA, AVONITE, STUDIO, MEGOL, APILON, APIGO, and APINAT, are utilized in sectors like consumer electronics, medical devices, footwear, the automotive industry, wellness products, and building and construction. Within the Latex Binders segment, Trinseo offers various latex formulations. These encompass styrene-butadiene latex, styrene-acrylate latex, vinylidene chloride latex, all-acrylic latex, and butadiene-methacrylate latex, which are integral to manufacturing coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers. The Polymer Solutions segment produces an assortment of polymers, including copolymers, polycarbonate, styrene-acrylonitrile, and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene. Marketed under the MAGNUM, CALIBRE, and STYRON brands, these polymers are frequently incorporated into automotive components, appliances, consumer goods, and construction sheets. Finally, the Americas Styrenics segment focuses on styrene-based offerings, providing styrene monomer, polystyrene, general purpose polystyrenes, specialized high heat and impact resins, and STYRON A-TECH polystyrene products. These are vital for applications in appliances, food packaging, disposable food service items, consumer electronics, and building materials.
