The company's core offerings include various types of cables, wires, conductors, and capacitors. Its extensive cable portfolio features XLPE cables, encompassing extra high voltage, medium voltage, low voltage, and aerial bunched types, utilized across critical sectors such as power transmission and distribution, railways, petrochemical and fertilizer plants, steel plants, power stations, chemical facilities, and for submarine, underwater, and mining applications, including control and instrumentation circuits. Additionally, Universal Cables provides PVC power and control cables for power distribution, control systems, utility networks, railway signaling, switching stations, textile mills, chemical plants, and machine shops. The company's product line further extends to PVC insulated winding wires, flat motor leads, and specialized elastomeric cables for trailing, ship wiring, and defense. Mining cables are available for heavy machinery like LHD and SDL equipment, drills, coal cutters, stacker-reclaimers, and earth-moving equipment. For high-temperature environments, silicon rubber cables are offered, alongside special power and control cables designed for oil rigs, traction motors, brush gear connectors, tap changers for EMUs and AC coaches, and wind energy generators. Fire survival elastomeric cables are also produced to maintain circuit integrity during fire hazards. Beyond cables, Universal Cables manufactures various capacitors, including high and low-voltage units, harmonic filters, surge protection/special duty capacitors, and automatic power factor correction panels. Complementing its product offerings, the company provides comprehensive engineering services. These services encompass turnkey contracts, system studies, energy audits, harmonic analysis, and the testing, commissioning, handling, and installation of HT/LT capacitor banks and their associated equipment.
