The company serves markets both within India and internationally. Its operations are divided into two primary segments: Super Abrasives, and Machines, Accessories, and Components. In the Super Abrasives division, Wendt offers a comprehensive range of products, including various types of bonded abrasives such as resin, metal, vitrified, electroplated, and hybrid wheels. This segment also provides rotary and stationary diamond dressers, hones, PCD/PCBN tools, wear parts, brazed products, and diamond segments and pellets. The Machines, Accessories, and Components segment features an extensive selection of grinding, dressing, and honing machines. It also produces critical precision components like hardened and ground flanges, as well as a diverse array of diamond dressers, encompassing single-point, multi-point indexable, blade type, and MCD-blade type options. Further offerings include resin bond diamond wheels, electroplated diamond mounted points and files, dressing stones, diamond lapping compounds, and specialized diamond discs for concrete. Beyond its core product lines, Wendt provides machine refurbishing services, surface finishing solutions, and various accessories and equipment, such as finishing films and fine grinding wheels. The company's innovative product portfolio also includes precision electroplated tools, polyamide wheels, vitrified CBN wheels, and specialized rotary dresser power steering units. Wendt's high-performance products are integral to a wide range of industries, including automotive, aerospace, defense, medical, biomedical, engineering, ceramics, glass, textile, and cutting tool manufacturing, as well as for applications like gear shaft grinding and turbochargers. The company actively engages in product exports. Wendt (India) Limited was founded in 1980 and maintains its headquarters in Hosur, India.
