About

Founded in Fujinomiya, Japan, in 1950, Envipro Holdings Inc. is a Japanese company with international operations primarily focused on resource recycling, global trade, and lithium-ion battery recovery. Its Resource Circulation segment oversees the collection, handling, and transportation of metal scrap and industrial waste, sourced from factories and demolition sites, to intermediate processing facilities. From these materials, it manufactures and distributes ferrous scrap, nonferrous metals, plastics, and rubber products. The Global Trading division is involved in the acquisition, sale, import, and export of various recycled resources, wood biomass fuel, and used vehicles. This segment also provides logistical services for international trade and sells metal scrap. Through its Lithium-ion Batteries Recycling business, Envipro processes discarded batteries and factory waste by drying, shredding, and sorting them to generate a concentrated sand rich in minor metals such as cobalt and nickel. Additionally, the company engages in environmental management consulting and offers welfare services for people with disabilities.
