Established in 2011 and headquartered in Jaipur, India, Aavas Financiers Limited (known as AU Housing Finance Limited until February 2017) specializes in providing housing finance solutions. The company primarily serves self-employed individuals from low and middle-income segments residing in India's semi-urban and rural areas. Its diverse portfolio of loan products encompasses financing for the acquisition of various residential properties, including flats, houses, bungalows, and resale homes. Additionally, Aavas offers funds for land purchases and new home construction, including self-built residences, as well as home improvement loans for renovations such as tiling, flooring, plastering, and painting. Beyond residential property, the company also provides home equity loans and micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) loans to support business expansion, equipment procurement, and working capital needs. Further services include home loan balance transfers and products under the emergency credit line guarantee scheme. As of March 31, 2022, Aavas Financiers operated an extensive network of 314 branches across 13 Indian states, which include Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, and Odisha.
