A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S is a global leader in transport and logistics, with operations spanning multiple divisions. Its Ocean segment is primarily focused on container shipping, which includes services such as demurrage, terminal handling, and documentation, as well as managing transshipment hubs and selling bunker oil, under renowned labels like Maersk Line, Safmarine, Sealand Maersk Company, Hamburg Süd, and APM Terminal. The Logistics & Services division delivers integrated solutions for transportation, fulfillment, and management, covering land and air freight, warehousing, cold chain management, supply chain optimization, and customs services. Gateway terminal activities are managed by the Terminals segment under the APM Terminals brand. Furthermore, the Towage & Maritime Services segment, leveraging its Svitzer brand, provides shore towage, salvage, and marine services. This division also manufactures specialized reefer containers and offers marine solutions to the energy sector with a fleet of anchor handling tug supply and subsea support vessels. The company was established in Copenhagen, Denmark, in 1904.
