Its Water Business involves the procurement and distribution of raw and industrial water, along with providing wastewater treatment services, primarily to clients within industrial estates and lands, as well as other commercial consumers. Concurrently, the Power Business focuses on electricity generation and supply. WHAUP possesses an approximate total generation capacity of 2,619 megawatts, utilizing a diverse portfolio of energy sources including natural gas, coal, hydro, solar, and waste-to-energy technologies. Founded in 2008, the company was initially known as Hemaraj Clean Water Company Limited, later rebranding to WHA Utilities and Power Public Company Limited in August 2016. WHAUP is headquartered in Samut Prakarn, Thailand, and operates as a subsidiary of WHA Industrial Development Public Company Limited.
