Russians living in the EU have started to report that they are unable to fund their Revolut accounts from the cards of banks in CIS countries - Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Oninvest became aware of five such cases. In all cases, the scenario was the same: clients received Revolut's refusal to transfer money with the explanation that "the top-up card is no longer supported".

E-commerce giant Amazon and one of the largest retailers, Walmart, are considering issuing stablecoins, a cryptocurrency whose exchange rate is usually pegged one-to-one to the U.S. dollar or other national currencies, sources told The Wall Street Journal. That could allow them to save billions of dollars in transaction fees companies pay to bank card issuers, as well as put pressure on traditional payment systems. Shares of Mastercard and Visa&nbsp; collapsed 6-7% on the news.
