Meta announced massive layoffs: about 8,000 people - about 10% of its total workforce - will be affected, according to an internal memo HR Director Janelle Gale sent to employees on Thursday, Bloomberg <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2026-04-23/meta-tells-staff-it-will-cut-10-of-jobs-in-push-for-efficiency">reports</a>.
