In its latest biweekly report, Freedom Broker shares four small caps for investors to consider. The companies operate in the fertilizer, aerospace, biotech, and commercial real estate sectors, and their stocks offer between 15% and 40% upside.
Freedom Broker's picks
TAT Technologies
Aerospace solutions provider TAT Technologies is an attractive stock thanks to steady demand for the company’s products, its record order book, and easing supply chain conditions, Freedom Broker argues. In the second quarter, the company’s order book increased 6% versus the January-March period to $615 million. This gives TAT Technologies multiyear revenue visibility, the company notes. Among key risks Freedom cited constraints on the supply of certain components, growing working capital requirements, and currency fluctuations. It has set a target price of $54 per share for TAT Technologies, implying 40% upside from Wednesday’s close.
Sarepta Therapeutics
Freedom Broker sees Sarepta as an attractive investment thanks to the company’s portfolio of commercialized drugs and the potential for a recovery in demand for its Elevidys gene therapy. The therapy is used to treat Duchenne muscular dystrophy, which causes progressive muscle weakness and ultimately death. In summer 2025, after two patients who had received Elevidys died, the company paused shipments of the treatment in the U.S. In November of the same year, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration withdrew approval for its use in nonambulatory patients. However, 80% of ambulatory patients with Duchenne muscular dystrophy remain untreated, which should support a recovery in Elevidys sales in the second half of this year, Jefferies wrote back in March.
Sarepta’s core drug portfolio will provide the company with financial stability over the next two years, after which its prospects will be strengthened by new gene therapies currently under development, Freedom argues. It has a target price of $25 per share on the stock, implying 27% upside from the last close.
Intrepid Potash
Intrepid Potash is the only U.S. producer of potash fertilizer. Limited domestic supply amid high demand is precisely what makes the name attractive, Freedom Broker argues. In addition, after selling a noncore asset for $70 million in April, the company has significant cash and minimal debt, which should allow it to expand production without borrowing heavily. Freedom cited the cyclical nature of potash prices and foreign trade policy as the main risks. Its target price of $45 per share for Intrepid implies almost 22% upside.
Piedmont Realty Trust
The attractiveness of Piedmont Realty Trust, which specializes in Class A office properties, stems from its extensive portfolio, rising rental rates, and the limited supply of high-quality properties, Freedom Broker believes. Moreover, the company’s short-term financial risks are reduced because it has no major debt maturities until 2028. Piedmont Realty Trust shares have risen substantially this year, gaining 15%, which limits their further upside, Freedom noted. It has set a target price of $11 per share for the company, implying 15% upside.
